1. Agreement
By visiting the DiskShift website, downloading the application, purchasing a license or using the service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the policies linked from this page. If you do not agree, do not use the service or complete a purchase.
2. The DiskShift service
DiskShift is desktop software for viewing storage usage, searching local files, reviewing cleanup opportunities, and managing selected items. The application is designed to run locally. Results can depend on operating-system permissions, file-system support, virtual disks, external drives, and the accuracy of metadata made available by the operating system.
3. License and plans
- Basic: free access to the features identified on the pricing page, subject to reasonable use.
- Complete Solution: a one-time license for the features described on the pricing page. Unless the order says otherwise, one license key is bound to one device after activation.
- People: rented access priced per person for the minimum term shown at checkout. Seats and keys may not be shared or resold.
Prices, taxes and any applicable charges are shown before payment. We may correct obvious pricing or description errors before accepting an order and will contact you if an order must be adjusted or cancelled.
4. Acceptable use
You must use DiskShift lawfully and only on devices or files you are authorized to access. You may not reverse engineer, bypass license controls, resell access without permission, interfere with the service, use the application to violate another person’s privacy, or misrepresent DiskShift as your own product.
5. Cleanup and deletion actions
Do not remove operating-system files, virtual disks, backups, project files or application data unless you understand the result and have a current backup. DiskShift does not guarantee that a moved item can be restored, that every application will continue to work, or that a scan will identify every file.
6. Purchases and payment processing
Payments may be processed through Razorpay or another payment provider displayed at checkout. The payment provider may apply its own terms, verification steps and privacy policy. A successful payment does not transfer ownership of the DiskShift software or grant rights beyond the license or plan purchased.
7. Support, suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where there is fraud, abuse, unlawful use, a payment reversal, or a material breach of these terms. This does not limit any refund rights described in our Refund/Cancellation Policy. For help, use our Contact & Support page.
8. Intellectual property
DiskShift, its design, software, documentation, trademarks and content belong to DiskShift or its licensors. Except for the limited license granted to you, no rights are transferred. You retain ownership of your files and data.
9. Availability and disclaimers
DiskShift is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted operation, a particular scan speed, a complete inventory of every file, compatibility with every drive or virtual disk, or recovery of data after a user-confirmed action. Maintain backups of important data.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, DiskShift will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Changes
We may update the service or these terms to reflect product, legal or payment changes. The effective date will be updated when a new version is published. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms, a license or an order can be sent through the Contact & Support page.
